MARKET HARBOROUGH, LEICESTERSHIRE

It is now impossible to imagine that this fine house could ever have
been in such a sorry state. Lovingly restored and converted to provide
7 luxurious two or three bedroom apartments with large reception areas
where high ceilings and plaster cornices add to the elegance.
At the same
time, the stables and carriage houses in the mews were also restored and
converted to provide one and two bedroom houses, some with first floor
living rooms with vaulted ceilings to take advantage of views over the
adjacent canal.
On either side of the restored entrance gates stands a new lodge house,
built of the same stone as the Hall and looking as if they, too, have
been there for generations, complementing their beautiful rural situation
outside the village.
