Due to its central position, the Black Swan is ideal for access to local transport facilities. Gloucester mainline station is less than a mile away and provides direct services to London Paddington, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol.
Junctions 11 and 12 of the M5 are the most convenient for Gloucester and recent road improvements have reduced journey times in and out of the centre. There are quick motorway routes to the south west via the M5 and the north via the M5 and M6. Wales can be approached on the A40 and M4, and London and the south east are accessible on the A40 and M4.
Gloucester is within an hour’s drive of both Birmingham International and Bristol Airports and Heathrow can be reached in less than 2 hours by road. |
